First School Assembly
School Assembly number one took place on October 29th in our gym and brought the entire school community together. In a positive atmosphere, the Student Council introduced itself and our special year as a ZDF partner school was recognized. Another highlight was the introduction of our school mascot, who will accompany our school at events and in projects.
Wishing Tree Campaign
On October 24 at 10 a.m., the "Wishing Tree Campaign" of the Federal Employment Agency took place in our schoolyard in front of the gym. The project was launched together with representatives of the employment agency, the school management, the mayor and pupils. An apple tree and two bee trees were planted.
Premiere at the Chemnitz company run
For the very first time, the International Schools Niederwürschnitz took part in the Chemnitz company run - and what can we say: it was a complete success!
ADAC Training
Year 6 pupils successfully took part in the ADAC "Achtung Auto" program and a bicycle course. During the braking distance test and a ride in an ADAC car, they experienced impressively how important it is to pay attention and behave correctly in road traffic.
Chinese Guests
On August 15, 2026, the International Schools Niederwürschnitz welcomed a very special visitor: A group of Chinese pupils and teachers visited our school as part of an intercultural program.
Welcome classes 5
On the first day of school after the summer vacation, we welcomed three new fifth-grade classes to our auditorium. With great anticipation and a little excitement, our new fifth graders gathered in the auditorium with their parents to celebrate this special day.

Social Day 2025
On this year's Genial Social Day in June 2025, the pupils of our school once again demonstrated their great commitment. Through their active participation, a considerable sum of €6,369.82 was raised for social projects and charitable causes. We would like to thank all participants and donors for their support!
Ceremonial awarding of certificates 2025
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the time had finally come: the graduation certificates were ceremoniously presented in our decorated school auditorium. The sun shone brightly with the proud graduates - and for the first time, the first year of Year 12 was also present alongside the secondary school graduating class.
