Free Schools Würschnitztal e.V.

The aim of the association is to support and promote all pupils of the International Secondary School Niederwürschnitz.

Excerpt from the Articles of Association

§ 2 Purpose

The purpose of the association is to promote the education of children and young people in close and cooperative collaboration between teachers, pupils, parents and other partners. To achieve this purpose, the association can operate alternative schools within the framework of the law on independent schools (SächsFrTrSchulG) and promote such alternative schools and their pupils.
The association is non-denominational and politically independent.

Objective

We are an interest group made up of parents, teachers, entrepreneurs and committed citizens. Our aim is to create a free and independent school that teaches according to the current curriculum of Saxon secondary schools. This educational institution, designed as a non-smoking school, is intended to be a community of pupils, parents and teachers in which individual talents are encouraged and children's weaknesses are reduced. With the region's companies as strong partners, basic knowledge and practical activities will be geared towards the needs of the regional economy. This should enable every school leaver to obtain an apprenticeship.
