Welcome & welcome back

On Monday, August 5, the International Schools team welcomed all students back to school from the summer vacation and to the new school year. As every year, the highlight was the welcoming ceremony for the new Year 5 pupils.
We were able to welcome numerous new pupils from the three Year 5 classes as well as parents and guests to the welcoming ceremony in our assembly hall and celebrate this important step in their school career together.
Our principal, Ms Geuthel, kicked things off with a speech. This was followed by musical contributions from Year 11 pupils, who particularly impressed the audience with their performance of well-known and rousing Disney songs. Afterwards, everyone received a small gift and a school shirt. It was a successful event that provided a motivating start to the new school year.
This was followed by the class teacher lesson, during which the new pupils got to know their class teachers and the school building and received lots of important information. The class teachers show great commitment and put a lot of heart and enthusiasm into making the pupils feel comfortable and welcome.
