On this year's Genial Sozial Tag, the pupils of our school once again demonstrated their great commitment. Through their active participation, a considerable sum of € 5823.00 was raised for social projects and charitable causes. This is an impressive result for our 1st participation in this project. Many thanks to all participants and donors!
The majority of the donation will go to Madagascar to support rural hospitals, to Sierra Leone for the construction of an elementary school in Malap and to Cameroon for a district center for refugees. We donated an impressive €1751.40 to Arche gGmbh - Jugendhilfeverbund Erzgebirge. The support will be used to design the outdoor area for the residential groups for children and young people in Lauter.
We are proud of the commitment of our students and are delighted with the impressive sum that was raised through their efforts. The Genial Sozial Tag 2024 was a complete success and shows how much can be achieved and how important solidarity and commitment are. We will therefore be taking part in this "Social Day" again in 2025.
