Cool holidays in the 2nd week of school

On August 28 and 29, 2023, the International Schools Niederwürschnitz celebrated the 125th anniversary of our school building and the 25th anniversary of the new extension.

This provided a surprising change to the school day for all pupils: on Monday mornings, the duo TIBRO rapped for the older pupils in the gym while classes 5-7 carried out interesting ESD projects (Education for Sustainable Development).

On Tuesday, classes 8-10 worked on further ESD projects and the "little ones" had a visit from Phänomenia. But in the afternoon there was a lot going on again - the building was open to all interested visitors from 3-5pm. There was a stylish school fashion show by the new fifth graders, and the 7a had put together a great raffle. The 6a, 9a, 10a and 10b catered for the physical well-being of all guests. And in the assembly hall, professional singing could be heard on the talent stage and the visitors saw very successful dance performances. All the other classes had organized a huge flea market in various classrooms, which fitted in well with the theme of our school's past and present. All guests were warmly welcomed in the lower foyer, while in the upper foyer they could have their faces painted or be professionally sketched. These were exciting days and we would like to sincerely thank all participants and visitors - together we experienced a great event and a very successful team-building activity for our students and teachers. You are all great!
