A fairy tale came true
Once upon a time in 2015, in a small mountain village in Saxony, the ruler of the land and her new court jester met for the first time. The newcomer entertained the lady excellently, telling her interesting or funny stories, performing magic tricks or acting in great plays with the local theater group.
The little juggler developed his intelligence from year to year, showed a wide range of interests, successfully took part in various competitions, learned to play the piano and was a reliable participant at all events, whom the good lady could always count on.
Unfortunately, he had to leave the small kingdom and his superiors after 6 years, but he did so as the second best in his year with an average of 1.13.
The good woman sent him to a training center in the neighboring town with recommendations, which the former court jester left after three more years with a fabulous 1.10 A-level average. The former ruler heard about this and was almost bursting with pride.
The little hero then moved to the big city, where he wants to train as a teacher and, if he hasn't died, perhaps one day he will return to the provinces and work on an equal footing with his former ruler...
This is an article about the success story of former ION student Henry Faust (AK 2021), written by his former class teacher Grit Vogel.
